Sober Living in Santa Barbara makes long-term sobriety more than just possible- The Recovery Ranch makes staying sober a reality for the men who walk through our doors. If you’ve completed 30, 60, or 90-day treatment but find that you need extended support, we’re here for you.

Sober Living Santa Barbara

Our beautiful Sober Living house in Santa Barbara is comprised of two houses on one property. As a resident of our home, you’ll be required to help maintain every aspect of the living space, both inside and out. Recovery experts share a critical piece of information regarding addiction- it involves a lack of accountability, something you’ll establish and build while you live in our Sober Living house.

Earning Your Space

Part of treatment at The Recovery Ranch includes cleaning and maintaining the beautiful premises that make our houses comfortable. Along with managing the grounds, you’ll be required to attend 12 step meetings and build a strong work ethic that will allow you to become a productive member of society. Residents help each other change the destructive behaviors that could otherwise lead back to abusing drugs and alcohol.

Continued Structure

Living within a structured schedule eliminates unnecessary free time, which is most dangerous for addicts and alcoholics. Instead, your days at The Recovery Ranch will be filled with purpose as you learn to live like a gentleman, dressing and acting appropriately. At The Ranch, residents do not curse or use slang or talk about things that are not beneficial to recovery.

Interrupting the Ritual

Taking drugs and drinking involve daily rituals that are difficult to break, however, with time and effort those rituals will begin to fall by the wayside. It takes time, and the length of time required is different for each person. The Ranch will provide you with the time you need to establish new habits and put to use the skills you learned while in residential treatment. By eliminating the risks, you’ll be in a better position to focus on recovery.

We’re All In This Together

Peers and sponsors at The Ranch are in recovery also and have earned the right to assist others on the road to lifelong sobriety. With every new day at The Ranch, you’ll notice that you and those around you will start looking and feeling more and more like a family. The fact is, everyone around you is trying to heal, and everyone understands how it feels to disappoint others by their choices, struggle with cravings, lost control over their lives, and desire change. Someone is always there to provide the support you need when you need it- and you won’t have to feel as though you have to give a lengthy explanation for the way you feel.

We urge you to call The Recovery Ranch to learn more about Sober Living in Santa Barbara. Our house is more than just a safe place to call home- it’s a place where family awaits you.
